Default Best full slick?

Looking for info on slicks, currently have been running a toyo DR and I'm looking for a better dedicated track tire. It seems like a lot of guys like the ET drags from M/t, Hoosiers, M&H, what are some others worth looking at? Any breakdowns of what will last longer or be stickier? I've read a stiff sidewall option is preferred for a heavier car like mine (minimal weight reduction so about 3500 pounds maybe?) All going in an M6 Fbody on a 15X10 size rim. Thanks for any info as always...

Look into the Hoosier Quick Time Pros. Its a DOT approved slick the hooks very well and last for quite a while. Tire height will depend on gearing and trap speed. I run the Hoosier QTP 27x11.5 on motor and the Hoosier 28x10.5 stiff wall slick on spray. If you're a cam only stock weight car, 26" tall tire might suit you well.

I've always ran MT ET Streets (bias ply DOT slick) on my cars and liked them. Needed a new set and they weren't in stock so I tried the Hoosier QTP's. I was happy with how they worked, I think they might have even hooked a little better on the street, but god damn they only lasted 1/3 of the time I normally get out of my ET Streets. I literally had them shot in 3 months of driving once a week if that. My MT's I would usually get a summer and a half out of. Put another set of ET Streets on and they've already lasted twice as long as the Hoosier QTP's did and still look almost new.

I've gotten 2 race season out my QTP's. Keep in mind, I don't drive them on the street. No slick is going to last long on the street. The OP mentioned that he was looking for a "Dedicated Track Tire."
