Default Need drag radial help

About a year ago I bought a beautiful set of Bogart bolted RT RR's with 315/35/17 Hoosier DR's with only 6 passes on them. I had to take them off the rear 17 x 11's due to taking the car on last summers Power Tour. Now I want to take the car to the track this summer. I have a few options. I could mount them on another pair of 17 x11 rims (like street lites) just for the strip. Or I could get some ET Street Radials or Nitto 555r's and just sell the Hoosiers.
I cut 1.6 60's with my old ZR1's with Nittos on them so I know they would work. But I'm thinking I want to go 1 step further and get the ET streets and sacrifice the mileage life of the tire. I want to get into the 10's, and have bought 17 x 4.5 race stars for the front so that should help and the rear Bogarts weigh a shitload less than the ZR1 setup I used to have that I went 11.60's with.

Thoughts?

Oh, and the car is def not a daily driver. Maybe once or twice a week to work, weekend car shows etc. Only time it's seen rain is the 2 times I rolled in the Power Tour. I hope to take the car to the strip 2 -3 times during the summer.

Nobody?
17x11 street lites are around 650 for a pair new.
ET street radials are 480 for a pair.
I should be able to sell the Hoosiers for 300 so I'm only out 180 and I've got some tires that should last 2 or 3k and will hook on the street and track.

The old rims still look good ! I would go with M&H racemaster drag radials 325/45/17 they are pricey but have plenty on thread for the street and plenty of stick for the track. This is what I was going to do if I kept the rims and that size tire has a taller sidewall so will hook better.

Thanks Jeff! I never did get a chance to run with the Hoosiers. If I can get a set of used 17x 11's with the correct bs I just may use the Hoosiers this summer.
