Default Clutch pedal position sensor module - test subjects needed

We are finishing up testing on our module (CTAP-001) that connects to the clutch pedal position sensor on the newer GM vehicles (2010-2013 Camaro, 2008-2013 Corvette, 2009-2013 CTSV) and allows you to activate/deactivate devices based on the clutch pedal position.

If you are not aware of this already, the above vehicles and many other newer vehicles have gone to a clutch pedal position sensor that is similar to a throttle position sensor and gives the ECM the position of the clutch pedal throughout the travel of the pedal. Since it is a sensor and not a simple switch it isn't as easy to wire this up and use this to activate/deactivate other devices. That is the reason for our module.

The CTAP-001 module can then be used to enable/disable nitrous or a 2-step based on the clutch pedal position (using the built in clutch pedal position sensor from GM). This device won't work on earlier cars that have the two clutch pedal travel switches at either end of the travel (one for cruise disable and one for starter enable) unless you were to install the OEM GM clutch pedal position sensor or some other 0-5volt travel position sensor on your pedal assembly.

The module allows you to adjust the activation point in 1% increments.

It can also connect to most other 0-5 volt signals (throttle position, accelerator pedal position, brake pedal travel sensors etc.).

Here is a link to the instructions for the product.

Retail will be $114.95 and we have also made a plug-and-play harness for the Camaro (2010-2013), Corvette (2008-2013) and CTSV (2009-2013) clutch pedal position sensor to make it easier to wire up. That harness will be $14.95.

I would like to get a few more installed on vehicles and tested before we release this product to the general public so I am offering to sell them at a discount to a few more beta-test customers. You have to be in a position to install it and put it to use right away (within the next two weeks).

Anyone interested please contact me via PM.

BTW - one thing to be aware of on vehicles that have the clutch pedal position sensor is that the ECM has to learn the clutch pedal travel. If you change to an aftermarket clutch and hydraulics that changes the pedal travel you may have a problem with cruise control operation or problems starting the vehicle until you perform a clutch pedal position learn.
