Default Help figuring out engine rev limit

I have a fully built 427 LS3 with a TH350 and 4.30 rear gears. I have only tracked it once and my tuner for some unknown reason left my rev limit at 6200. Needles to say I get just past half track and I am out of motor bouncing off the rev limiter. What rpm should we set the PCM at to be able to cross the 1/4 mile? BTW it ran a 10.79 with that 6200 rev limit.

What was your 1/8th MPH? Just trying to get an idea of the MPH you'd be crossing at the 1/4. What size tire? As a rough guess I'd say at least 7500.

The track I ran in didn't have the 1/8 mile sensors working. That's right I forgot tire size, 28".
