Default Valve cover options

Interested in seeing what all options we have on valve covers.

Not looking to spend 400$ but would like a nice looking valve cover.

I am the process of doing that as I type.. Waiting for paint to dry. They are already shaved and one coat on.

I am looking for fabbed/etc covers, not stock.

I don't mind spending money on them, just don't feel like dropping 400$ on a set.

The Proform tall valve covers Summit sells are not bad. Just put a set on my car. Steel to seal up pretty good.

I think around $260. They come with standoffs so you can't over tighten them. Oil cap is press in. It and gaskets are sold separate.

Nice.. Sucks they only come in "chevrolet" logos.

They do have a plain option though which is most likely what I will do.

Have you started the car with them yet to see if they leak?

Roger, you are the man!!

http://paceperformance.com/i-9375493...no-emblem.html
Subtotal $197.95
Shipping $18.11
Total $216.06

They should be here on Saturday!!

These were cheaper than even any used or BNIB I have seen. The next best deal I came across was a set of BNIN Katechs for 280$ that had been mounted but never ran.
Other than that it was all ebay/mrgasket crap that leaks.

Killer deal!!

Yes, we have been beating on the car on the dyno for a couple of days. No leaks. They use a Felpro stock type gasket.

Good deal!

Now just fingers crossed they clear my L92 heads with stock rocker setup.. I'm sure they will.

Lemons12, my Crower rockers clear with room to spare. One thing I forgot to mention, if you are mounting coils on the valve covers, you have to use their brackets.

Coils are relocated so no worries, one reason for wanting nicer covers.

Thanks for the heads up!
