I think I've seen either a 28 or close to it in a camaro, it looked dumb but for this particular person it eliminate the offset tire height issue. I'll rummage around and see if I can find a pic

Here is a couple of pics of my 98 SS I bought back in November. I'm running 15x3.5" fronts with M/T Sportsman 28"x7.50"x15" LTs and on rears are 15x10"s with M/T 275-60-15"s that are approx. 28" tall. The front tires do rub on the inner wheel liners at times , just depends on how the wheels are turned and the amount of bounce of the frontend. Driving on the street they don't rub very often, but I have not gotten to take it to the track yet to do a wheels up launch yet![The Judge](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_judge.gif)

The car has QA1 "R" series drag race front adj. shock & QA1 300# coilover springs. Rears are QA1 single adj. shocks with QA1 2.5" x 12"x 150# coilovers. Has a pretty nice stance and not so low that it drags or bottoms out while street driving. On the street it launches pretty good and transfers weight to the rear suspension well. The 275-60-15 M/T DRs spin through 1st & 2nd gears, but its a hooking spin if you know what I mean. Car has big Sphon torque arm, BMR lower control arms, and Hotchkis weld-in subframe connectors. The 275-60-15 M/Ts spin through 1st & 2nd gears, but its a hooking spin if you know what I mean.
I have not gotten the chance to do a good hard launch at the track yet. Only thing I dont like is how the frontrunner drag wheels dont tuck in more on the F-bodies. I see that the guy's running the 17" Billet Specialty Wheels look like they have a better offset to tuck in further. Either that or a tubular K-Member might make them set more inboard?
