Default Suspension Adjustment Advice

I got a chance to go to the track a few weekends ago and finally got a chance to try out the MT X275 Radial Pros. I was very pleased with the results seeing as this was really my first pass with a good set of tires on the car. The car pulled a 1.33 sixty foot off the foot brake. Car has 17x9 front wheels on it and the next plan is to get something narrower. I have a few questions for you more track experienced guys.

My car has a 4L80 with a transbrake that hasn't been wired yet. Would the brake improve the sixty foot any?

What kind of adjustments to the shocks or suspension should probably be made to bring the sixty foot down even more if possible?

All suspension on the car is tubular and adjustable.
  • Front shocks are an older D/A Afco model. Rebound is just about all the way loose. Compression I will check tomorrow.
  • Rear shocks are QA1 S/A set at 4 clicks from full firm.
  • Torque arm -2 degrees.
  • Tires 18psi

Here is a slow motion video not sure if it's good enough to be able to make any suggestions from

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert but I might tighten the extension on those front shocks a few clicks. Looks like if you hit it much harder it could possibly get some real air under it and go on the bumper.

That is a very good 60'. Wire up the brake and make a hit.

I absolutely would not tighten up the front end. You might make up a set of travel limiters for the front. If it begins to get up too high you can just take out an inch or so of travel. It doesn't look like your in any danger of that right now.
Mine didn't wheel stand any worse when I put a Trans brake in it. May help your 60's a little. Probably not as much as you might think.
