Default drag slick size change

Just picked up a new set of ET slicks and they are 26x10x15 and want to know if it will make car any faster at the strip? The old slicks that I was running were 28x10.5x15 and I went 10.800 @ 126 on juice with a 373 gear and a th350.

Assuming your car will still hook as well as with the larger slicks & you have enough RPM potential for your increased gearing, then yes. If you were bordeline on traction before, then maybe not.

Being under or over-tired will slow you down. The trick is using just enough tire to keep it hooked, without any excess weight or width to carry down the track.
