Default Strip Tire Help

Car will make around 600 RWHP (N/A), has a 4200 stall in a PerformaBuilt Tranny, 4:10 gears in a beefed up 10 bolt (is there such a thing?), fully adjustable and pro tuned suspension for the strip.

I have 15x8 & 15x3 drag star wheels.

What size tires for the rear? Drag radial or slick? Is there something I have not included that needs to be known prior to making any tire recomendations?

Chad! Long time no see/talk buddy. It's Ryan from the OKGMP days. Run a 275/60/15 MT ET Street radial on those 15x8s and go get you some 10 second slips!

Forgive me but what does "pro tuned" suspension mean?

Hey Ryan, how ya doin man! These are your old wheels I have still, got them all polished up and insides painted. They look great! How are the kids doing?

Strange Single Adjustable in all corners with coil over fronts. The rest of the suspension is adjustable as well. Drag bar, pan hard, lca's, torque arm, trans/torque arm mount, lower A arms.

I will let the car shift, I have'nt been to the track with the new motor yet. I plan on dialing the shift in while at the track.

Pro Tuned > The suspension will be tuned by a local race shop, so I thought I would call it a pro tuned suspension. Sounded good when I first wrote it.

If you plan on running well on a radial you might want to look into a good double adjustable shock for the rear. A wider wheel 10"+ would be nice too if you plan on using a 275.
