Default Drag Radial Tire Pressure

So some 305/35/18 Nitto 555rs are coming in, and im a total newb and wondering what i should set tire pressure at for the drags this weekend.

I really dont have any suspension mods other than strano springs and stock shocks...

Don't go to low on pressure it will slow you down on the big end kill mph. I would start out around 28 and see if it hooks. I wouldn't go no lower than 20. You want it to just barely hook with no spin so you can keep your mph up.

Looking at his sig I don't think he needs to come down that low.According To how good the track prep is too. I know my car anything under 20 feels like I am going thru a tar pit past the 1/8th mile. Which with a 6speed you got more pull up top.

Those tires have no sidewall so you don't want to lower them much. I'd say 24-28 psi.

Ya, there 18s nittos

nittos kinda stuck on track prep but great on unprep street. I dont think theres gonna be any huge difference to sweat it on that setup. Just get seat time and have fun

I like to run 19psi cold, but I've got a 60-series sidewall, sooo... YEAH.

Is there a rule of thumb to sidewall vs psi?
