Default 98 Trans Am Drag build

I bought this Trans Am the way it is from a friend of mine. It has a stock bottom end but here is what it does have.

Comp Cams XER281HR
Ported 706 Heads
Fast 90mm Intake
Nick Williams 90MM TB
Nitrous Express two piece MAF kit
Racetronix kit with Walbro 255 pump
Computer out of a 2000 Camaro
3.73 gears in built 10 bolt (soon to be blown up)
And Hooker Long Tube headers

On order is a PTC TH350 and 4000 stall
Currently in the process of getting rid of all the stero equipment and airbags.

I was wondering what yall think so far. I have no set goals for it just yet but wanted to make sure I am on the right track with it.

I will get some more pics when I get home from work.

The wheels have already been sold plan on going with the Weld RT-S wheels. As for the transmission its already here so I will run it tell it gives up. Hopefully if everything works out right the car should be ready to start making motor passes by the time I get home.

Not sure what to expect as this is my first LS car.

Man it better be fast with those flames!!! Hahaha it looks like a good base. Sometimes I feel like I want to start an LS project, but then I look in my garage and change my mind immediately

I can't say what it will run now but the fastest the car had ever been is 7.25 all stock with 150 shot on a hypertech programmer. I am surprised the engine held.

The setup now has never been on the track yet and is in dire need of a good tune. Before it went to the chassis shop it was tuned but I was told by the tuner it won't idle and now it fowls the plugs just trying to load it on a damn trailer

What's a fair price for installing a roll cage?

I guess it depends on if you buy a cage and just needed welded or if you get a custom cage built. My chassis guy quoted me $1500 if I bought a cage from some one like Wolfe or Midwest Chassis. I can't say what anyone else would charge. I am not sure if thats high or not, I just went with who I felt comfortable with using.

I had my cage built with all the extra braces under the dash and X doors so it could be upgraded later. All total I was charged $7100 but he also fitted my dash, along with installing my quick release steering wheel and wire up trans brake and stuff like that.
