TH400 or Powerglide that is the question
TH400 or Powerglide that is the question Im debating on going to a 3 speed or 2 speed trans. My reasoning for this is bc I want to go to a 200 shot (may start off lighter at about 100-150 shot) and am going to spray off the line. Im thinking mvb or rmvb with a tb. The car has a spooled 12 bolt with a 430 gear. The converter I plan to run is still in the air and I am open to suggestions. The car with me in it will probably be around the 2900-3000 lb. mark. I have never ran anything other than a 4 speed auto up until now so I would like some pros and cons from some experienced drag racers. Thanks in advance
