pro and cons of 15x10 welds
thinking of switching from 8" to 10" welds looking for any pros or cons to the switch. Also thinking of having 9" installed 2" shorter and changing offset to 5.5 on a 10" rim Thanks Scott

my experience is on a stock width rear only.
pros..can run a wider tire(duh)
tuck in under the fender better, look nicer IMO, not sticking out as much as 8" rim.
cons..LOT more grinding needed to clearance the calipers. if you run a 28 you'll need to clearance the bumpstops, maybe the bumper cover and possible roll the fender lip.
the bumpstops may have to be done even with a 26X11.5..not sure..i run that now, but ran a 28 first so it was done already when I switched.

I have a Currie 9" that was narrowed 2" per side and just put on a set of Weld 15x10 with 5.5bs and 28x10.5 slick. I don't have any problems with the outer fender lip and run Wilwood brakes so there were no grinding issues.
