This is 770boy's car from back in the day. He is probably 4-link, but this gives an idea of the tuck I think you are going for. He is also a big tire car.

Is that the look you are going for?

Not the best picture but that's a Hoosier 18192 29.5x10.5x15w in the wheel well, this a rather oversized 29.5 tire, not legal at most of the 29.5 limited classes fwiw. Just a mini tub... Well they're about 4 inches in further then the standard mini tub but they're not full 40 inch ones.

They clear, tight but they fit. " stock suspension " under the car too, well about as stock as every g body and fox body car I see running in stock suspension classes these days.

15x12 sander 5 in dbl beadlock wheel, 6 inches off each side if the rear, aerospace brakes

Here some pics of mine, 9" narrowed 3.25 inches per side, 15X10 wheel with 5 inch backspacing, 30 inch radial slick, Minitubed

I know it's not 2", but thought it might give you some idea

Here is another blast from the past.....
Roofer Dave Underwood and the stunning Camaro that W2W built

Once again, MAJOR chassis mods and big tires. But there is your 'tuck' you want.

So what is the plan? Try 1" less backspace......aim for 4.5" then?

Since 7.5" is stock and you took 2" off the rear minus 1" more.

negative, less back space will push it out further. im thinking about getting 6" bs that way its 1/2" further inboard than stock, hell maybe even 6.5" im not sure until I make a call and see what the measurements are on the car.

Ah, ok. Makes sense. For some reason I was thinking the other way.

Exactly why I chopped 6 inches off both sides of mine.. If I could have cut more off I would have but the brakes and control arm brackets would have been on top of each other if we went any shorter...

Not even close. Roofer Dave's car was about as outlaw 10.5 as you can get, Tom Kempf's new car is full blown outlaw 10.5

My junk is just a stock suspension car with a 29x10.5w on it. Race car yes, outlaw or promod... It's far from it. See it in person it just looks like a low sitting street car. Might run a bit better when it's finally done.
