Default helmet clearance to cage?

I'm finally done fitting my harness and with my helmet, I'm making contact with the padded halo bar, I'm not really that big (6" 190lbs)either. Is this a problem in fbodies? Is it acceptable at the track, am I in any danger, I'd almost guess while not being comfortable, if in a collision your head has less room to generate momentum..... Being harnessed in the car is already uncomfortable anyways, so if no danger I'll deal with it and just tilt my head lol.

18" kirkey pro drag. I know I can drop the seat to the floor but preference wise I like the seat where it is

I had the same issues with my wolfe cage. I suppose it depends on the tech at the track, I would hate to turn up and race and not beable to!
I have dropped my kirkey seat all the way to the floor to get me and the car into spec.

That's probably what I'll end up doing
