stall question
Getting ready to have my stall reinstalled wondering what y'all think about how much I'm thinking 4000 or 4500, I have a cam only spraying 100 shot running 7.6s on motor and 7.2s on nitrous. I'm wanting the most out of my setup it is not a dd I only drive it to the track. Thanks for any info

On a race car, I would stall it about 1000-1200 RPM lower than your peak HP. Obviously, you need to decide if you want a converter that is designed for straight motor or nitrous. A converter for nitrous might be a little tight for your sraight motor passes, and vice versa.

I ran a 4800 8" car went 10.92@123 on motor @ 3300 1.48, and 10.008@134 150 shot on a 1.38. This was on 28" slicks. Car wanted more gear for the 240/244/112 Vengeance cam in it.
I later put a 5500 in it but never personally hit the track, too much stall for street driving.

I don't know anything about converters for nitrous but I run a Yank SS4000 stall and my best pass so far is 10.961 @ 121.04 mph w/ a 1.467 60' w/ a stock bottom end LS1. I would have had a better ET but they were only 1/8th mile passes because I was doing NMCA bracket. I street drive my car and it's definitely fun on the street! I run 295/55r15 MT ET Street Radials. I've got a 231/231 111 LSA cam. Here's my 5 best time slips from the LSX Shootout.
