Default Roll cage question

I have a 1999 convertible Firehawk it presently has the Wolfe Race Craft 6 point. Trying to see if I can convert it to a legal 8 point (8.50-9.99). Can someone tell me if these rear bars are legal?

http://www.wolferacecraft.com/images...ar/fconv02.jpg

The rear bars have a bolt thru the bar.

Thank You for the help.

NHRA does have an acceptable procedure for a butt joint, I don't recall the exact dimensions but a tube must protrude inside of the two tubes being joined and be rosette/plug welded then the butt weld welded as well. I doubt it has what You need but I suggest You contact Your local NHRA rep that will certify it to get the skinny on what He wants.

If you call Wolfe they likely can supply you with a front 1/2 kit and a replacement bar as well for the removable portion... I'd call them and see if they can help you out, it's their product if anyone can help you with it they can
