Which/who's 6 point

Want a bolt in or ?? that will be the least intrusive. Too nice of a car to cut/weld, etc. Thanks.

Wolfe sells a nice bolt in

Have a Wolfe weld-in in my car, quality piece.

I believe the only bolt-in 6pt is Wolfe. I have Midwest Chassis weld-in 6 pt in my car. The fit is great. The door bars follow the contour of the inside door panel and arm rest perfectly.

I guess Wolfe it is. Anybody have some installed pics of a bolt-in in a Camaro/TA? (I have seen some on their site). I believe they make one with low slung door bars (for ease of entry) or maybe do swing outs.
Thanks for the input guys!

here ya go brother. if theres any specific angles u want let me know. i have a ton from the install too. fit is excellent. assembly wasnt bad. low slung door bars are a must if you wanna get in it lol.

JDEP162 Jan 19, 2014 04:56 PM

couple more, hope these help. need any thing else or details pm me if ya want.

ragtopz28 Jan 19, 2014 05:05 PM

Thanks man. I take it those are NOT the low-slung door bars. Very clean install :thumb:, that's what I'm looking for. I was given the "warning" yesterday to not come back without one :D

JDEP162 Jan 19, 2014 05:41 PM

no the angles dont show it but mine are the low slung, and its still a pain for me and the lady to get in lol. i cant imagine how bad strait bars wud be. glad if it helps, holler a pm if u need anything.

Wow, the pics on their site look much lower (if you have a minute, check out their site at the pewter Camaro. They appear much lower than yours. Maybe they've changed since you ordered??). Glad you clarified that for me. Guess I'll have to go with swing outs.

JDEP162 Jan 21, 2014 03:43 AM

Yeah for the money swing outs are nice. I just wanted to keep cost down. And maybe they are lower now, but I also have aftermarket seats, who knows. And my pics don't do justice, the cage is beautiful quality. And install is cleaned up a lot since then. Post pics when u get her going

Go with swingouts for sure. Depending on your local track, NHRA allows 5pt bars to the same 9.99 ET as the 6pts. This will free up the bar getting in the way of your passenger, but you'll still have the rigidity of the bar on your side of the car. I'd definitely advise in a swingout if it's street driven frequently. Here's a 6pt bolt in from a previous car I built...

Wolf bolt in here. I can remove the whole thing in less than an hour. I know I just did it to replace carpeting.
