Default VFN hood

Do the hood struts need to be changed when putting on a Sunoco hood? If so which struts should I use?

Vfn sells some lighter hood struts or something like that, that's designed for their hoods or fiberglass hoods. I used them and ran both had no problems. Don't have the hood anymore but I'm actually using those light hood struts on my factory ws6 hood and have no problems with that either.

Yes, you will crack the hood with the stock struts. VFN sells the lighter ones.

I ordered the VFN struts. I was not aware they offered them. Thanks.
