Narrowed rear end question
No you do not need to tub the car to run a narrowed rear. What you do have to do is get the right back spacing on the wheels you are going to run to push them back out where they are suppose to be. I am running a 305 tire and quite a few people running 325's without tubs.
I just did mine this winter on my moser 9". I cut 3" per side and that is about the max. Im running weld prostars, 15x10 with 4.5 backspacing. Looks awesome. I had to clearence my wheel well though to run a 15x10. Cut the bump stops out and alittle hammering in the front of the wheel well. I think it was well worth it.

Made my own brackets, moved them inwards, built lca mounts into the cage that tie into the stock mounting point. One bolt goes thru the stock mounting points and the cage mounts, holds them in. Blessed as legal for stock suspension racing by John Sears... good enough for me.
