Default ran 11.3 @123

Heads/cam PT4200 and 80 hp nitrous. I was having a bunch of issues as always, though. For some reason, the nitrous didn't seem like it was adding very much power for one thing. Not sure what was going on there yet. I didn't start spraying until about when 2nd gear hit due to traction. traction was terrible. I couldn't hook for anything launching NA. 60' was 1.76 on the 11.3 run, most were in the 1.8x range. This was on 26x11.5 et streets. My car was insanely heavy yesterday, too. No weight reduction mods. Then you add some weight for the nitrous, 180 lbs for me and I had a full tank of gas.

I did manage to hit 100 mph in the 1/8 mile, which was one of my goals. 10s should be just around the corner. I've got to go the other track where the car hooks better. I want to get some ET drags, bump the nitrous up to 125 hp then go to the other track and launch on the bottle.

It looks like you have some issues according to your mph and times. That 60ft is not to good either , That track must bite for traction, what kinda heads and cam do you have and gear ratio, My car being 3533 with me in it pulls low 1.6s not leaving at full throttle with 26 by 10.5 ET streets. I dont think with that PT4200 you will get the full effect of the nitrous, Either way im sure you will work it all out.

Yeah, the traction really sucks at this track. I can cut 1.5 60 fts at the other track. The heads are MTI stage 2s and the cam is a comp 228/236 112. 3.23 gear.

you should be running 10s easily - just work out the traction issues, esp coming out all motor you should be pulling low 1.6 no sweat just off of idle. good luck. dont ya just hating racing in real life. the internet makes 1.5 wheel standing launches and perfect shifts seem normal. lol

lol...I know exactly what you mean. The internet also makes you feel like your car is an underachiever unless it runs mid 11s with stock internals and 10s with heads and cam.

100 in the 1/8th is excellent, so be happy for that.

if that is a loose motor converter it may not be best for spray.

good luck, i'm sure you'll get the 10 second pass

I was pleased with 100 mph in the 1/8. The converter I have is definitely best for NA use, I'm just using the nitrous for that little extra kick.

What track were you at? Lapeer or Milan?

I was at Stanton Sat. and traction wasn't perfect but my worst 60' was a 1.63 best was 1.589.

Jorday your mph indicates high tens are doable.I would try to get to a better track to see what it will really do.

I was out at lapeer, and I never hook there. I usually race at stanton on Wednesday nights. I wasn't even planning on going racing Sunday, I just kinda went out to lapeer for the heck of it. I'm sure I'll run better at stanton.

I went Stanton saturday with Gramps truck. I was having issues with 60ft's but not because of traction. They were doing a beutiful prep job laying down the VHT pretty heavy. Gramps truck would not come out hard enough with the 3000 conv. Ran 12.130@115.63. In a S-10 BTW. You could have pulled really ahrd out of the hole there. There was a black heads and cam WS6 runnin 11.1@121 on the 150 shot, he was a M6 also. Maybe I will se ya at Stanton when you hit tens. I plan on hittin Gramps with 200 soon.
