SLP 51014 cam
SLP 51014 cam Hey guys just looking for some input on this SLP 236/236 .050 .590/.590 cam, iv read (1 opinion) that the powerband sucks at it really comes on at 4500 rpms but I'm looking for more opinions on this cam. I'm pairing it up with some trick flow 215 heads so I'm just curious. I do street drive somewhat but the car is mostly built for drag. Please input on this guys, my last couple threads didn't get much help here but I know you guys have opinions! Lol thanks
With my 215s on the old 346 I had an EPS 226/234 cam. It worked great with a Fast 102 intake and a NW 92mm tb. Dynod 462hp. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...648&styleid=27
If your going NA I see most including myself with a much wider split in the specs. Mine from EPS is 234/246 with stock heads and made 427 rwhp. What I would do is call someone like Geoff at EPS and have him spec a cam for you it's not that much more and he knows his stuff. If not him there is plenty of other company's here that will help you with great results.
