Removable Transmission Tunnel I'm wanting to make a removable transmission tunnel/coverso make more room for a trans shield and also to make removing the trans fromt he motor a lot easier. I looked thru several of the builds and did a search but couldnt find a how to or any pics. If anyone has done it can you post some pics please. Thanks Gary

Sorry i havent got back to yalls replys. I'vebeen study for the bar that I take next week.
The car will be for strip only. I can weld, etc but was just wanting to see how some guys attached it to teh firewall and floor. I just want it to be easy to remove the trans if needed and make room for a trans shield.
I found a pic of one that someone had cut it out but never showed the finished product.

that looks like too much cut out...most cars that I've seen with a removable tunnel also have a full fabbed floor also, I think you're going to have to either search in another forum and use other cars for an example or use your imagination...either way good luck
