Drag brakes What drag brakes are most of you running. The car is a mild cam ls3 98' Camaro. Car will be running 150-200 shot. I have a built th400 matching converter and moser 9" with 4.10 gears. Starting to look into drag brakes that I could also do a little street driving without worrying about heavy brake fade.
Standard 9" set for the rear and the front is the complete set that comes with new hubs. I had to brace my master cylinder to the strut tower because the firewall would flex from the added pressure. Drove it over the weekend with the brace and there a lot better now.
Had I known from the start I would've went with something a little more street friendly and kept my brake booster and put some nice calipers on. The drag brakes work decent for the street but you'll deff want to leave a bigger gap between you and the car in front of you. For some that's fine but I like to drive kinda fast so now it's keeping me from really enjoying the car, Prob a good thing, lol.

I'm currently just running strange rears and they are doing just fine to me. Have a little bit of brake dust but nothing a microfiber rag can't take care of real quick. I don't think I'm quite light enough yet to consider the fronts.

I have some Strange rears and was planning on using my stock front brakes for now with a manual master. IF that will work? If not I guess I will be going to Strange fronts. I do plan on occasional street driving.
