Nice job Paul! Glad you are enjoying the "new" motor. 10s will be in the bag once we sort out a few things.

First runs at track with Solid Roller!!!
Well the motors been in the car for a couple of days so it was time to run it. Car was full street trim 3640lbs, full exhaust (no cutout), and all accessories. Weather was about 50 degrees and 97% humidity.
60'..... 1.51
330..... 4.58
1/8..... 7.17
MPH..... 94.03
1000.... 9.42
1/4....... 11.32
MPH...... 118.70
The tranny is still hitting the rev limiter because it does like to shift for some reason, and the converter is still way to big with the 3.23 gears. All and all I extremely pleased with the car. With some bugs work out I think the car has a lot left in it, I hope.

Way to go Paul! That's one hell of a 60'! You've got a LOT left in the car, and there's no doubt that you're going to get a 10-second slip out of it. For the first shakedown passes, I'd be damn pleased. With those 60' times, you'd better sit on Santa's lap for a 12-bolt. hehe
Congrats on the new setup and new timeslip! You've just scratched the surface.

There is usually a pretty big MPH difference between a heavily geared standard car to a large converter auto car. We still have to uncork the exhaust, sort out my gear and converter issues, and a few other little things so I thinks the car still has couple MPH left in it.
