First time at the STRIP EVER!!! Need advice, replys, ect!!!
Just got the car 2 weeks ago, with a lid at a 1/8 in Denton the best I ran was 9.1 with a horrible 2.45 60ft, and a mph of 83.5 !!! I am still getting use to the car and need to work on my 60fts. This is in a m6. Let me know what you think. Reactions...Advice...want to tell me what a horrible job I did launching...ect. Thanks

Not so much advice here but encouragement! I have a lot of mods on my car and I know I'm about 1 full second or more off of my full potential. I know one day I will be there and moving on to be a threat to some very nice cars. But until then I practice all that I can and read up on boards like these lots. Work on my launch and work on hooking up. Do searches on the drag section for "launch", "shifting", and ask direct questions to the guys that have proven there skills and cars they are very helpful. Most important; remember you (and I) and everyone else included will never have the fastest car in the world. (Well, maybe colonel will) but one common thread is the love of speed and our cars. Have fun and good luck.

You need drag radials. Get a set of BFG DRs 255/50/16.
do the free mods (TB Bypass, MAF screen removal, free ram air)
Heat ip the tires good and try again. You have over half a second in your sixty foot alone.

keep your expectations low. it takes a lot of practice. Colonel could probably drive my car .3-.4 faster than me but I'm still practicing
