500 rwhp in the 5's Is it possible to put a 500 rwhp car into the 5's?
A friend of mine says they have a foxbody with 500rwhp that is in the 5's 1/8 mile of course, the weight i'm guessing is around 3200 without driver. They said it was all in the suspension and weight setup.

Lol yea I could definitely see it then. He was trying to say it was all in the suspension, he's an import guy and said that's how they are able to stay competitive with those cars is to pay special attention to the suspension and weight placement.

My car is 3400 with about 580whp and runs 6.4-6.5's on a 1.32 60'.
You can only 60' so fast with a given hp level, I mean you may be able to get it a little lower than mine but even if you can get it in the 1.2xx 60' that is only a tenth.

For comparison, Norm went 5.97 to the 1/8 in a c6Z but he murdered the 60' (1.22) and was probably making mid to high 500's thru an auto.
I agree with everyone. It would have to be lighter and maybe 550 thru an auto and still tough.
