Need draggin tips/techniques

Need draggin tips/techniques sup guys. thinking about hitting qualcomm this weekend (1/8th). well, i have never went to the track and i would love any pointers anyone can give, mainly like technique ect. i live in san diego, so pretty much at sea level. car is a 1999 firehawk m6, with a procharger running 8PSI, car's been tuned, larger injectors. dyno was 420rwhp.
another quick question, the guy i bought it from said don't take the RPMs too high (past 6k i think), or you could damage the s/c, as well as revving it also is not good too do.
any pointers on launching, driving ect would be very welcome!

Are you planning on going there on street tires? If so let me race you your first time in my 4 Door GTP. 
At qualcomm traction stinks so on street tires I start off by being as easy as I can off the line and getting more aggressive until I cut worse 60ft times. Do a light burnout before you race to get any garbage/water off the tires. With your car be careful on the 1-2 shift on street tires or you might end up in the wall.
Go to www.sdcarscene.com and post up, there will be some local fbody guys racing there this weekend that would be more than willing to help you out.

na, i have some comp ta's in the back. just regulars in the front. thats why i need to track it b4 i get normal tires in the back. have to take off ramps verrry slow on the freeway with the comps. they are almost bald. its my daily driver until i get off my ***.
