Sealing motor plate

How are you sealing the drivers side of motor to the plate? The head overhangs slightly and the motor plate hits the head before the block.

Also, if you use a water pump gasket and the plate also bolts to any other holes in the block, you'll want to space those out an even amount as well so as not to put the plate in a bind. I'm sure you know this, but just wanted to remind.

1 water pump gasket should suffice.

Yeah my fab guy has limited LS experience so he's being extra careful with anything that he doesn't like the look of.

my plate is milled down in that area to clear the head...
