Default Some cam help for my setup...

Please understand that I'm trying to not make this a "what's the best cam" post as hard as I can. Just trying to learn a little more about specs for my setup...

As of now I have trick flow 215 heads with a fast 102/92 setup with TSP 1 7/8 headers and other bolt ons and stuff with a slp 51014 cam (236/236 .590/.590)

Iv had some ideas to maybe change out my cam to something more "tried and true" maybe (and to be honest it doesn't even sound like it has a cam most of the time when warmed up)

Iv recently came across a friend wanting to get rid of an MS3 cam (237/242 .603/.609)

If not a good choice, what would be good a good balance of duration to lift with trick flow 215s? Iv heard very mixed reviews on the very few feedback on the current cam I have.

I was seeing if I could get some input with some good guys about the change? I see the ms3 has a tad more duration, and a lot more lift, would it be worth a change? I'm looking for more track times and spirited street driving more than dyno numbers. The car is also an M6 with 3.90 gears if it helps at all.

Thank for reading!!

Obviously the MS3 is going to be better cam than what you have for track duty but there are many other choices as well.

The MS3 has been around along time and probably still one of the best.
I think the one with the 111 LSA is the one you want. I think it's a great nitrous cam as well.
Get you the PRC .650 double spring kit to go with it.
Can't remember but you may have to flycut your pistons.
Do some research.

I ran the prc 215 with a MS4 m6 car. Went 10.92 at 126 with a little weight reduction. Engine peaked at 6900.

Wow! Thanks guys for the replies. I know there are others out there but for now I'm looking at different cams lift and duration and such and just trying to look for info. I think I'd also have to change springs since I have the original trick flow springs rated to 600 lift I believe.
