What's up ragtop, thought that was you. Didn't post my time becouse it sucked. Good motor but have to get everything working together and can't bare sitting in line at the strip for 3 hours and only run 1 time

I think changing gear is a bad idea right now. Just a guess but some thing is spinning or slipping. Get the trans checked out first before you do anything else. Also a little tire spin could loose a couple tenths off your 60 ft. which could add up to almost a half second off your ET.

Whatever course your going to take remember your goal is to diagnose the problem. So don't make a bunch of changes at once and then test. Test after each change so you can pinpoint what it is.
I wouldn't charge the converter and rear gear the same time because it won't tell you which one was the problem.

i would highly suggest finding a way to data log your next few runs and having your tuner make sure everything adds up.

though, if i had to put money on it, i'd bet it's your converter causing the problems.

also just curious what are your cam specs?

As far a data logging, would have to do it on the dyno. The track here gets packed and 1 run or so in 3-5 hours just sucks. As far as the cam its a 247/262.. 632/596, 113 plus 5. I'm planning on running small shot of nitrous, just think that I should have better et. I did order a fti 4400 stall that should flash around 38 or so, know just have to wait for the tc to show up

I removed trans pan and found some metallic particles in the pan. Nothing that you could feel on your finger tips. Removed trans and dumped out tc and alot more of the same stuff came out. Monday it goes to trans shop for a tear down, also going to have the install a trans brake since everything is apart. This coming friday night the track will be open so im see what happens
