Default Theoretical question....

is that even how you spell "theoretical"? anyways....

let's say you take two cars. one a bolt on car, and one a nitrous car. both run similiar times...

my car: 11.54@ 116mph w/ 1.58 60ft.

Black Sunshine '00SS: 11.496 @ 116.24 w/ 1.53 60ft.

it's close enough for what i'm gonna ask. now, in a drag race, they are similiar times. but let's say from a 30mph roll, who would win? i want to get into the bolt on game cause i'm selling the nitrous. now my question is, if i have the mods to go that similiar time, will it still have that same type of "pull". will it have the same type of acceleration? sorry for the vague question, but i love that pull it has on the juice. thanks for any help

my vote is for the N2O car. i mean, if nothing else it will be A LOT more stable/comfortable getting to 100-130mph. and if you look at specific difference between the cars you listed (3.23's vs. 3.73's, stock manifolds/cat vs. grots/duals, etc.) you can see the difference. not to mention weight difference. Bolt-on game rules (excl. 2Quick4U): get real light, get a big converter, get real slicks. every thing else with solve itself. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

In a race from 30 to 116 it's a virtual tie.

Single stage nitrous systems spray the same amount irregardless of RPM.

A Nitrous car should outaccelerate an identical HP N/A car from a 3000rpm roll-on contest, because at 3000rpm they will have more HP, even if peak is the same.

IMO...

well, the headers and true dual are coming for my car either way....so it's just a thought of if I'm gonna miss that "pull" when you floor it the converter spins up along with the nitrous.
