Default Transbrake question
Had a mrvb with brake installed in my th400 and a shifter with brake button on the shifter. Question is - is this ok ? I read that nhra says that it can't be on the shifter. I don't run in any classes ( except super slow class ) and if true, where can I mount the switch ? thanks guys

I've never heard of NHRA having a rule on where to place the button. I've had mine on the shifter for years without issue. If you put it on the steering wheel or shifter, you may want to consider a separate switch to turn that circuit off for street driving or around the pits. An accidental hit of the button wouldn't be good...

Thanks, I was looking around and at the rule book but haven't found anything concrete on it. Did see in a different forum, that's why I was asking

Yeah I have never heard of that rule either. Mine is on the hurst shifter.

Mine is on the inside of the gauge cluster bezel about 2 inches from the wheel and a safety switch in the console.
