Re: George C. Launch Picture Thanks Tony, looks pretty good. The original photograph itself is sort of orangish, so it still looks that way when I scan it... The text is no problem, as I just have to take down the "real" photo from my wall and scan it again.
Not to blow my own horn too much here, but... On the night my engine came apart, it was the first time I'd been able to run the car with the tubular k-member, and some other weight removed off the front end. The front end was way up in the air on the 1st pass (1.39 60'). I have it on tape, but it's rather dark, and kind of far away, so you can't really see it that well.
My friend was sitting on the hood of his truck, trackside at about 300'. He swears he saw my chrome tranny pan plain as day on that launch. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
Hopefully I'll be back in the game around late April/early May.
