Rear Shock adjustments for launching.
I have rebound-only adjustable rear shocks.
Should I:
Set them equally stiff.
Set them equally soft.
Set the right stiff, left soft.
Set the left stiff, right soft.
I would think it would be best to set the right soft, and the left stiff. This should let the spring plant the right rear harder than the left.
Any ideas?

Have been running 1/1 front, and 5/5 rear for drags, and 8/8 - 7/7 for AutoX.
So I'm thinking 1/1 - 1RR/2LR.
Interesting note: increasing rebound reduces wheelhop I found. Big change. The more rebound, the less hop.
I try those setting as see if it changes anything. I'll know Saturday. <img src="graemlins/camaro.gif" border="0" alt="[Chevrolet]" />
To me it makes sense that a stiffer rear will give you a better the launch. If the front is loose and the rear is kept from squatting, it seems to me that the energy should be going directly to the tires.
It would follow that you would want the RR stiffer than the LR ... same principle as an air bag or trick springs.
I'm considering a similar set up as yours, on the back, with a progressive spring - preferably something with a 95 to about 180 lbs/in range.
Still trying to figure out the front, though I'm leaning strongly toward HALs. But, I don't think thier drag spring is going give me what I want.
