converter vs. 60ft. question.....
alright identical cars obviously, but let's say you have one car with a vig3200 converter, and it gets a 1.55 60ft. and then you run whatever time...
what would happen if you had a TP4400, and ran the exact same 1.55 60ft. would your car run faster than with the vig3200? any thoughts? and why?

Re: converter vs. 60ft. question.....
Well if you are running 1.5 60's you have some decent motor. Question is, is it from a cam, nitrous or blower.
If it's from a cam, the higher stall will kick *** the rest the way down the track. Why? Because on A4's the 1-2 drops ALOT of RPM. Big gearing change. By running a higher stall, it will accelerate harder to 330'.
But with nitrous or a blower, the advantage will not be so great.
Either way, the higher stall should win. IMO.

no, i'm still talking straight stock motor, just bolt ons. look at Black Sunshine 00SS times and DriveATransAm times. both getting 1.5's with the vig3200. but the larger stall with the greater str would win over the lower stall?
