Ok so I went racing on Wednesday and the first couple of passes it didn't seem like the 2step was working. I'm spraying a 100 shot as well and the timing retard portion of it seems to be working fine. I went to the pit area to test the 2step and when I push the button and rev the 2step starts at around 1500 rpm rather then the 5000 rpm I had it set at. And it sounds way different then before. When I don't use the 2step everything is fine. Anybody have this issue before?
Most common cause of that kind of problem is getting the 100x and the 1000x dials mixed up (so 5100 would be 1500 or 1500 would be 5100). Make sure you are at 5000 rpm (5 on the 1000x and 0 on the 100x) and not 1500 (1 on the 1000x and 5 on the 100x).
The other thing to make sure of is that all the dials are in a proper detent and not in between positions. You should be able to feel when it is in a detent vs in between settings - especially if you use the small screwdriver we provide.
If it isn't any of those things, check what the LED's on the LNC are doing when it activates at 1500 rpm instead of 5000 rpm.
Was the two step working before? If so, have you made any changes to the vehicle since it worked before (changed spark plugs, plug wires, wiring layout/positions, rewired something etc.).
Hope this helps.

Thanks Jason. I called yesterday and spoke to ryan that stated the same thing. I've had the unit for about a year with no problems. Didn't change anything besides checking one plug for since I sprayed and putting it right back. The only other thing I can think of is that I'm using the timing retard portion more cuz I'm spraying more often. I've used the unit be for only a couple of times for the timing retard portion before this. All of the settings are in a locked position and I didn't mistake the 100x for the 1000x. Thanks a lot for the help tho.
