People with MAC headers read How much did you gain with your MAC headers and do you have the ORP or Cats. I'm trying to decide if i want to put these on my car and if i want to go with the ORP or Cats.

They work excellent,But wait til I'm done testing to make a decision...

Are your headers ported, or otherwise modded? I know alot of the members are running macs, but they are seriously worked over like mine were.
Just think the guy should know if they are modded or not.

Lots of guys have had good results with MACS. But the fit/finish on them has little to be desired in most cases. Many of the serious enthusiast end up porting them, or even modding the collector on them. Almost everybody mods the y-pipe.

Re: People with MAC headers read I for one think that the MAC's are some of the best out there. They didn't fit bad at all I thought. The ability to be able to change the plugs after you put headers on is nice too. Some headers make it very difficult to do so. I personally gained approx. 2.5-3tenths and about 3MPH. I still think they were one of the best mods I did. Oh and thats with no Mods to them and thats with a ORP none modded collector.

I ported the snot weld out of the primaries (No big job)
and cut off the smallish 2.5x inch piece on the end of the collector and welded on a 3 inch piece. (Took all of about 5 minutes at the muffler shop.)
I dyoned 460RWHP @ only 5000rpms(Fuel problem) and 455RWTQ with them <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
I love my MACs <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Re: People with MAC headers read The dynos in my sig are through Macs(very ported) as are the times and MPH. I think the Macs do a damn good job ...and then throw in the price...hell yeah.
