New Best This Weekend!!!!!
New Best This Weekend!!!!! Decided to drop the exhaust and make a few passes this weekend. As I figured the stock 4L60E was still hurting (FLP tranny shipped out Friday). Out of 12 runs I only managed 2 runs that the tranny would actually go into 3rd. gear. Best of the 2 was, 11.180 @ 119.59 w/ 1.44 60'.
The car 60'ed very well all day. Every run was a 1.44-1.45 except for one that was 1.46. The UT4800 is still way too big so I'll be changing that with the tranny swap. Hopefully I'll see a little gain there. Also the 9" will be in this week with 3.89 gears. <img src="graemlins/camaro.gif" border="0" alt="[Chevrolet]" />

Re: New Best This Weekend!!!!! Damn, you know it's awesome when you're chipping away at your ET with a messed up trans. I'm very curious to see how much a tighter converter and built trans net you in the 1/4! I think you should take it out to Red River this next Saturday. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> I think that's where I'm gonna go. I'll have video ability. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Re: New Best This Weekend!!!!! Nice times Paul. If you haven't already considered it, you might take a hard look at the Yank TP-4400. Raughammer switched from the UT-4800 back to the TP-4400 and his 60's dropped from 1.48 to 1.38 this past Friday at HRP.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with the TP4400. I really don't have any way to weigh a rear end. I tried to trim the weight as much as possible. I ordered the gun drilled axles and the al. center section. I see if I can figure something out.
