Anyone break into the 10's with just a cam change?
Thats going to be a pretty tall order but I think its possible. Your going to need about 40-50 crank hp more than a 11.50 run and of course a hooking track and good weather. Just a good guess.
When I hit the tracks last , it was late in the year, & I thought the car had a bit more in it, on a good day, probably about an 11.35 to 11.39. So if the cam gives generally 30, then I think if I wanted that, I'd be only a converter & weight reduction away from na 10's.
I agree with your last post. But, how about a cam only car with exhaust/carpet/bumpers, and the like still in place?
You figure Bob2of3 had a goal of low 11's with a stock motor...so a cam only on a skeleton chassis should be possible.
