Default Burkhart Chassis Torque Arm front mount

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on mounting the front x-member mount for the Burkhart Chassis torque arm since I'm getting rid of my sub frame connectors? I have a few ideas just wondering if anyone else has done it and could give some pointers

Why are you getting rid of the subframe connectors? Unless you're building a 25.x cage into the car, I wouldn't ditch them...

If you are putting a cage in then it's easy to incorporate the mount into the chassis. Lots of people do that on a regular basis with Burkhart and madman type tq arms with sliders on the front, works out very well.

Well I'm going to end up doing a cage cert to 8.50s and I figured I would t need them and that it was just added weight at that point?

Not true. The SFC's transfer the reaction of the rear suspension up to the front of the car so that the energy is not "absorbed" into the chassis. This helps with weight transfer and reduces fatigue on the chassis

As stated above, unless doing a 25.x cert chassis (which incorporates front to rear ties) leave em in

Good info and nice to know. I suppose I'll be leaving them in 😀. Thanks for the reply

Do a 25.3 like I did and you put the LCA mounts into the chassis itself as well as the stock mounting holes, so it really puts all the force into the whole chassis ;-)
