removable steering wheel
I called Midwest chassis the other day to order a removable steering wheel adapter and wheel for my 99 ta. He told me that I can not put one in that car unless I put a steering column in it and that he called grant and they don't make one. Sure someone makes something I mean heck it's 2015 and I have a street car

That's strange. We got a 96 Camaro and got one from Grant. Not sure if its the same column. Only problem we ran into was we got a Billet Specialties steering wheel and it bolts up different. So we searched and found a LaCerea (Not sure if I spelled it right) adapter, and it works perfect.

I found the part numbers. Grant part#3001 You will need an adapter for a three hole to however many hole your steering wheel is. We have the three to nine. And it was the only one we could find. So I will put up the part number. It is a LECARRA #13290 just in case you go Billet Specialties. Most are 3 to 6. And then you can get a bunch of different ones. From Grant or whoever. That Quick release is real nice. Just slip the hub on in place of old wheel. Put the nut back on and your done. Its a ring around the base you squeeze and it goes right on or off the splined hub.
