Hoosier Tires
Hoosier Tires Hey all,
Is anybody out there running a set of Hoosier Quick Time Pro DOTs or Drag slicks? I hear these things are about as sticky as they get. And they just released a 16" tire so, now you can run them on stock wheels.
Tell me what are your opinions of these tires?
I know there is a GP going for them from Billingsly racing, and there prices look pretty good.
Thoughts?

Re: Hoosier Tires I highly recommend the Hoosiers. I'm running the 26x9x15 slicks on my SS, and they're great. I used to run a Firestone 12.2" slick on my '67 Chevy II, and my 60' times were consistently in the 1.50 range. I swapped the tires out for a set of 11.5" Hoosiers, and my 60' times dropped to an average of 1.47 with a best of 1.44. I'd definitely recommend them!

Re: Hoosier Tires They Extended the sale on the Hoosires, they need a few more orders by this friday! Come on racers. You know you're gonna need a set of tires this year, might as well get them now!
