Where would you shift this combo?

Your should experiment with different rpms on the same day and if you are very consistent with each pass use mph as a good indicator. A g meter would be the ideal tool for determining shift points because it takes into account everything mentioned at the track on the day you are racing. But I understand that most people do this for fun and don't have access to all of the equipment available today.
All that being said, I bet you'll want to shift as high as your engine builder will allow safely and consistently.
I'd change the shift rpm 200rpm @ a time and see how the car reacts. Always start lower than what you feel is ideal for a good safe baseline pass.
