Long story short i have MWC fab9 with torque arm and having some issues getting it set-up differently. My car keeps blowing the tires off so i want to raise the front of the torque arm up a hole from where its at now which is the last/bottom hole. Only problem is if i raise the front of the t/a up its going to raise my pinion angle up with it and i dont have any more adjustment to pivot the front of the pinion down. The motor/trans is in the stock location on solid mounts so i cant cheat and raise the rear of the trans up to compensate so im at a loss. Also i cant raise the front of the t/a and correct pinion angle with the LCA because i run out of threads on them too so even more lost. As my car sits im at -2* pinion and the bottom adjuster is damn near all the way out of threads and the front t/a is at the bottom most hole, any ideas? Its like the bottom tube of the t/a needs to be longer or am i totally missing something here?

I will, just not on a sunday/weekend plus in case I'm thinking too hard or overlooking something and someone can say "hey dumbass, do this or that" then I won't have to bother Eric.

you can adjust the top out longer which would require you to shorten the bottom to make the top and bottom fit .

Im using the one down from the top . Thats what mwc told me to do when i asked .

Now I tried that but when I turned the top one out it would change the eye-to-eye distance and then the bolt holes were too far apart so when I put the bottom bolt in the top one was way off. I did turn the bottom adjuster all the way in and the hole to hole measurement was still too far apart to fit the housing.

Move it up and measure the pinion angle again...-2 is probably doing nothing more than robbing power anyway. When you run the pinion up it will lengthen your wheelbase and then you can shorten the lowers to where they need to be.

What pinion angle do you recommend? And what relevance does the torque arm angle and lca angle come into play for the instant center?
