Re: Plugs and wires? Unless your factory stock plugs and wires are badly worn out, you will not see any extra horsepower, nor any better ET, out of changing them. The car will run smoother, and you'll have better throttle response in a lot of cases, but no more power than you had before.
So don't expect to gain power with a plug and wire change, do it just for tuneup reasons.

Re: Plugs and wires? Thanks for the info. I have 52K miles on my car and it doesnt run quite as smooth as it use to, so I will problably change them soon. Hopefully, that will smooth things out a little.

Plugs and wires? I was going to replace the factory wires and plugs in the near future. What kind of gains if any will I see from my bolt on A4 at the track or dyno? Any suggestions on what wires and plugs I should go to? Currently I only have a lid, K&N, and LoudMouth. Any info is appreciated.
