That was a camera man from Channel 42 News here in Birmingham. They did a feature on our event to help us promote the positive side of drag racing. We, the BFBA, had about a one and a half minute spot on the news that night!! And yes the Colonel's wheel satnd is in it!! We are working on getting that footage on the net and I or one of the BFBA members will post a link for you get to it.

Feraking killer amigo. KILLER.
I hope with my new mods to get out of the hole... but i SERIOUSLY doubt I can "get my air on" like you.
AWESOME video.
That is awesome!!
What is the Colonel planning to do about the hopping after the front comes back down? Or was this AIR for the camera's that were there that day? I just wonder about the loss of energy with it bouncing like that. Were the HALS worse than this?

That was the first pass on that setup, the suspension was not set correctly. It does not do that when adjusted correctly, it also does not launch like that. That was not done for the camera's as it can get higher for a PHOTO SHOOT. It was just the 1st pass with a new suspension & working trans. brake with a 2 STEP. The HALS could also be adjusted to stop this from happening. The new setup just allows for more adjustments to be made. The only one ever planned (photo shoot for a local track) was about a foot higher than that.
