2002 corvette times??
2002 corvette times?? My cousin is about to get a 2002 corvette coupe six speed, I was wondering if anyone has seen what they run stock( Cause I want to make sure I can beat him) Right now my best is 12.94 @111.5.

Re: 2002 corvette times?? Once broken, a good driver will be able to at least match those numbers at a good track in good air. The factory actually claims mid/high 12s capabilities out of an LS1 C5 with 6 speed and many have done it I heard. <img src="graemlins/corvette.gif" border="0" alt="[Corvette]" /> <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />

Re: 2002 corvette times?? Take a look at MIC5EY's post, he's got a 2002 Z06 that is factory stock - he went to ATCO and made 7 runs that were between 12.36 @ 115.47 to 12.08 @ 117.73!!!!! INCREDIBLE

Re: 2002 corvette times?? non-Z06 C5's are VERY difficult to hook off the line with stock tires. Run flat tires have the stiffest sidewall of anything.
I'm giving up on them and buying drag radials for next year. Along with a bunch of other mods <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Re: 2002 corvette times?? I have a 2001 Corvette Coupe - 6spd that is basically stock (Vortex intake, Magna-Flow cat back exhaust) and I have run a best of 12.66 @ 112.xx mph. I could run 12.8xx all day long. And that is with stock runflat tires. With some drag radials, that should drop about 2/10's.
