Race seat?

Race seat? Is it worth it to remove the stock power-lumbar T/A seat with a lightweight race seat for the track only? I saw some cheap in Summit that I was thinking about if it was relatively easy to remove and replace the stock seat. Any ideas?

the weight savings is worth it, if your looking for numbers. Be prepared to fab your seat bracket though.

Re: Race seat? I run a seat similar to the RCI plastic seats. With the bracket it weighs 13 lbs. My leather power drivers seat weighs close to 50. I used some 2x3 angle aluminum to fabricate the bracket. Its not very comfy though <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
