Does a 28W grow to a 29? Does a 28x10.5W grow to a 29" during a run?
With 4.10's, and a 28W what rpm will I do thru the traps if I can hit 140mph? How about 145mph?

Re: Does a 28W grow to a 29? Tire growth will depend on a few different factors, John. The consturction of the tire itself, tire pressure, and the size of the wheel it's on would probably be the biggest determining factors.
Once you pick out a couple of sizes you think would be suitable, I'd call the manufacturer and give them the details of the car (trap speed, wheel size, etc.), and they should be able to give you some pretty good ideas of what kind of top end growth you can expect from different tires.
